为深入学习习近平总书记关于教育和铸牢中华民族共同体意识的重要论述，贯彻全国教育大会和全国民族团结进步表彰大会精神，落实《教育强国建设规划纲要（2024-2035年）》有关积极参与全球教育治理的要求，全面把握教育的政治属性、人民属性、战略属性，为加快建设具有强大思政引领力、人才竞争力、科技支撑力、民生保障力、社会协同力、国际影响力的中国特色社会主义教育强国凝心聚力，经报请有关部门批准，教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地西南大学西南民族教育与心理研究中心联合西南大学教育学部、国际学院、教师教育学院，拟于2025年11月21日-23日，在西南大学举办“全球教育治理与教育强国建设”国际学术研讨会暨“铸牢”教育研究2025年硕博论坛。诚邀国内广大教育战线工作者、关心关注教育事业发展的各界人士、长期支持中国教育发展的国际学者参会并投稿。现将有关事项通知如下。
一、会议主题
本次研讨会主题为“全球教育治理与教育强国建设”，分议题包括但不限于：
1.全球教育治理与教育强国建设关系研究
2.教育强国建设战略和全球教育发展局势下的学校教育变革与创新
3.教育治理现代化背景下民族地区教育发展挑战与应对

I. Theme
Education is the fundamental way for mankind to pass on civilization and knowledge, train the younger generation and create a better life. It is an important cornerstone of national rejuvenation and social progress. It is the leading and strategic foundation for building a strong country and national rejuvenation. Education is also a key issue in global governance. The Master Plan on Building China into a Leading Country in Education ( 2024 - 2035 ) proposes to improve the strategic strategy of opening up education to the outside world and actively participate in global education governance. Under the complicated international situation, facing the unprecedented changes in the world, times and history, on the one hand, education should take forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation as its fundamental guideline, focus on promoting all-round changes to cultivate high-quality talents to meet national strategic needs and meet international challenges; on the other hand, it should always undertake the mission of nurturing the roots of virtue and shaping the soul to ensure that citizens possess the core quality of maintaining stability amid changes in turbulent situations. Against this background, it is of great strategic significance and academic value to think about the deep value and requirements of the times of carrying out the education of forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation under the complex international situation, explore the strategic essence and reform path of building a strong country in education with Chinese characteristics, review and look forward to the historical experience and mission of the times of China's participation in global education governance, exchange and learn from the experience and model of cross-cultural and transnational education governance, and clarify the logical relationship between global education governance and forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation.
Therefore, Center for Studies of Education and Psychology of Ethnic Minorities in Southwest China of Southwest University, Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of Ministry of Education, collaborated with the Faculty of Education, International College and College of Teacher Education of Southwest University, plan to host an international symposium themed around "Global Education Governance and Education Power Construction", and concurrently the 2025 graduate students' forum themed around "Consolidating the Sense of Community for the Chinese nation Through Education", in Southwest University from November 21 to 23, 2025. The aim is to promote in-depth dialogue from two dimensions: strengthening the education of forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation internally, promoting the construction of a strong country in education, and actively participating in global education governance externally, so as to promote interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign scholars, and contribute to the development of world education.
We sincerely invite domestic and oversea scholars, professionals, master's and doctoral students and educational practitioners of all levels to participate and contribute latest research work around the theme and the sub-themes as follows:
ü Relationship between global education governance and education power construction
ü Frontier theories and practices of global education governance and forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation through education
ü Educational reform and innovation in response to the strategy of building a leading country in education and the landscape of global educational governance.

III. Registration and Submission Procedures
1. Conference registration is open to all, and closes on October 31, 2025. No registration fee is needed for the conference. All participants, with or without submission are requested to register for attendance. Scroll down to the bottom of this webpage, scan the QRCode, fill up the registration form and submit it. On November 21, show your name at the reception desk to register entry.
2. Submission is open now, and closes on October 15, 2025. Both Chinese and English language of submission are accepted. Both proposals and full papers are accepted. English submitter may choose to submit proposals only, with word count no less than 1000. Submission content should include title, research purpose, research question, literature review, research design, data collection and analysis, rudimentary findings and research significance. Submissions are accepted online through email, 2116037223@qq.com, with the email title "2025 International Conference Submission + School + Name".
3. Please include author identification and contact information (author name, institution, identity, cell phone and email contact information ) in the submission. All submissions are reviewed blind, acceptance decision will be sent to the submitter after the review process, around October 30. All submissions once accepted, will be included in the proceedings of the conference.
